DiscountPantry is operated by Christopher Lucas, sole proprietor, based in
Las Vegas, Nevada. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and who it goes

What we collect
When you simply browse the catalog, we collect only what any web server records: your IP
address, the pages you request, your browser’s user agent, and the time of the request. Our
network provider (Cloudflare) sees the same information as it routes traffic to us.
WordPress and WooCommerce, the software this store runs on, set functional cookies to keep
your session and browsing state working. They are required for the site to function.
If you email us, we keep the email and whatever you chose to put in it, so we can answer you
and keep a record of the conversation.
What we collect when you order
Placing an order requires your name, email address, and shipping address. Payment details go
directly to our payment processor (PayPal) — they are never sent to, stored on, or handled by
this site.
Who we share it with
- Suppliers and shippers. DiscountPantry is a dropshipping store: orders are
fulfilled by our supplier partners, so your shipping name and address are passed to whoever ships
your parcel, and to the carrier that delivers it. That is the only reason it is shared. - Infrastructure providers. Cloudflare routes and protects traffic to the site.
- Payment processor (PayPal), for the payment itself.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order and email records are kept as long as needed to support the sale and to satisfy tax and
accounting obligations. Server logs are short-lived.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask
us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We
will respond within 30 days. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the
store may stop working if you do.
Children
This store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their
information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version is posted here with a new date at the top.
